ALICE COOPER Premieres New Track On Radio Show

According to a post at SickthingsUK, ALICE COOPER premiered a track from his upcoming album, "Dirty Diamonds", Friday night (April 22) on his radio show, "Nights with Alice Cooper". The song, entitled "Woman Of Mass Distraction", was — as Alice promised — a slice of AC/DC-like rock and roll, but Cooper also said that there is a lot of diversity on the album this time, with some songs not sounding like anything you would expect from Alice Cooper. He also promised to play more tracks in the run-up to the album release.

"Dirty Diamonds" is tentatively scheduled for release in June. The CD, which is said to be a continuation of the more organic approach found on Cooper's last effort, "The Eyes of Alice Cooper", was overseen by Steve Lindsey, who co-produced Cooper's 2004 duet with rapper XZIBIT, "Stand" (off the official Olympics Games album, "Unity") and has worked with Elton John, Luther Vandross and Leonard Cohen.
